Well, yeah, I know that's no excuse.:) Perhaps I would write more if I knew that "my own little world" interested other bloggers in the least.:) I think its easy for people(Myself included;) to assume that friends are interested in what *we* are. For instance, some of the most fun days of my life are spent at Bryant Denny Stadium, but Lothiriel(who is a very good of mine) could not be possibly less interested. She prefers Jane Austen, period Drama, ect.

And while I love to speak on this subject, there are others who despise Miss Austen, there are "others" who would much rather read about Colt McCoy being drafted.

Different people follow for different reasons. Why do YOU follow? What would YOU prefer me to write about?:)

"Well, I'm back"

For the time being that is! Life still remains very busy!;) This post has no special point to it, just a bunch of ramblings.:P

First, I would like to remind everyone that BBC'S Emma is coming on *this* Sunday!! I hope you all find the time to watch it.:) I wrote my review about it HERE. After reading this review, one of my cousins called me & reminded me that even though this new adaption might be excellent, the Paltrow version was still good too. Well, I re-watched it, and I must confess, I loved it! Jeremy Northam is amazing! However, don't be alarmed, I still prefer the 2009 adaption by a long shot. A LOOOOONNG shot.;) Romola Garai IS Emma.:) And Jonny Lee Miller is *my* Mr. Knightley. And the Mr. Elton in this version is waaaaay funnier(IMHO). The same goes with Mrs. Elton, who is my personal favorite snob.;)

Also! I have seen the new Sense and Sensibility! .............oh, you wanted to know if I liked it? Oh, well...*shifts foot* jk! I *did* end up liking it. But I didn't love it like I did the 95' version. Perhaps I shall write my thoughts on it later....perhaps. All I'm saying is that The Young Victoria was something that I would rather spend my money on. I don't know if I have ever cried as much in a movie....well, maybe North and South.;)

WAIT A SECOND! I forgot to mention that WE ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!! RTR! The reason I remembered was because I'm wearing my championship T-shirt.:P Felt so sorry for McCoy & McElroy the whooole game. Two QBs in pain. Or was McCoy in pain? Can't seem to remember.:/ Oh, what an amazing football season. I'll never forget the "rocky block", or the joy during the SEC Champ., or bawling during Ingram's acceptance speech.:) Can't wait till next season....

Something to praise the Lord for is that SCOTT BROWN WON THE ELECTION!!! We were praying for him the whole time.

Let us all take time to pray for the people in Haiti. Donated 50 dollars last Tuesday(take THAT G-mac!;).

Christmas was truly wonderful this year. We never know what to ask for around here, no reason why, its just none of us can think of anything.;) Me & Mary both received Alabama jersey's. I got 22# and she got 12#.;) And Miss Melissa being the perfect one just received a cute Bama T-shirt.:) After all the presents were opened, I turned to Mary & said, 'No one was given a dumb lotr gift'. Tradition says that someone in our family *must* receive at least one dumb lotr gift! And no one was given any!! But lo, and behold my cousin Landon(who is my very favorite cousin;) surprised me with THIS. Though I think he may have lost his place as my favorite cousin after giving me that! jk!:)

*shivers* You have nooooooooo idea how many comments I have received with SPAM! And the people who leave these comments are either Chinese or Japanese, or something!!! So, I'll have to take off the anonymous commenter thing.:( Has anyone else had this problem?!

I am amazed that I have managed two post this December(this will be my third). This is the busiest time of the year for us, and will still have to buy a bunch more gifts!

But down to the *important* part; Most likely I will not be on blogger for a LONNNNG time. I know for a fact that I will not be able to post anymore in December, this is my last day. I may be able to post in January buuuut I'm not sure! I'll probably be able to post like some two sentences on Facebook on my cell phone, but like I said, I'm not sure! I know I'm not the best blogger, but I have been really busy! There's; Christmas Shopping, Clarinet lessons, a book to finish, babysitting, French lessons, and ect. AND, we have our big New Year's party to prepare for! AND, I will be in Virginia soon.

If you see any further blogging activity by my account, it be my cousin Maddilynn(unless its today or tomorrow) she may or may not publish your comment.

Austen Adaptions

*I answered everyone is the comment section.;) Just to confirm something to everyone, I skipped the very first scene of S&S. I wouldn't dream of doing otherwise.*

Well, I haven't finished it yet. I just finished the first episode.

My thoughts? Mixed emotions.

Granted, you can't trust me. The 95' version of S&S will probably always remain my favorite austen adaption. Emma Thompson is just such a good actress, and Kate Winslet just captured Marianne's sweet nature. So, if you are asking me which one I like better, mine without a doubt is the 95' version!! BUT, I'm not saying that the 2008 version isn't good!

Indeed, there are some things that I really appreciated that they added into this film. And I'm sure they will add much more things that I will enjoy. I really enjoyed the scene where Marianne is trying to avoid Colonel Brandon, so funny. But then came Willoughby. At least I think it was Willoughby.

If I remember correctly, Willoughby is tall, and handsome, and came riding on a great white horse. I remember being in awe the first time I watched the 95' version. And can you believe that I laughed when I first saw this scene? Yep, here comes this short, ugly, man waving his hands around like a lunatic! Yes, that's how I saw him. There is no comparison between Greg Wise and Dominic Cooper. I am sorry but there is not. How on earth could Marianne choose Willoughby over Brandon? Oh, yes. That's right. I haven't mentioned Colonel Brandon have I?

Well, I have mixed emotions about him too. Don't get me wrong, he IS sweet! But he IS not Colonel Brandon, in my personal humble opinion.;) Forgive me, but did anyone else get the impression that he seems...kinda...I don't know how to word it, well, "fake"? Perhaps I am just comparing him to Alan Rickman.(who in my opinion is one of the best actors ever).

After hearing me rant & rave about this version, I want you to know that I AM enjoying it! As much as I prefer the 95' version, not for a minute have I regretted watching it. This is just my opinion, so believe me when I say that you probably WILL enjoy and love this version! And probably want to watch it over and over again!!

One of the best things about this version is the Elinore and Edward relationship. They had enough time to develop it more. Though I am dreading the "woodchopping scene".;) Though personally, I am one of those few people who love Hugh Grant's Edward("My heart is, and always will be......your's").

Its so sad that this is my first post this month! *sigh*

First, an update on the polls! The dance scene in BBC'S Emma won!! Yea! I still have it on the bottom if you want to watch it!

I am probably not going to posting a lot this month since December is the busiest month of the year for us.:/ A lot of parents are always off Christmas shopping, so they need a babysitter.;) Not trying to complain here, but it would be nice to just have some free time to blog.(like now.....;)

(don't read this if you don't like football;)

Just wanted to say that....I am SO proud of Bama for beating Florida(32-13, whoa!). My brother, and my cousin, and my aunt got to go to the game. My aunt also got to meet Greg McElroy.=) But anyways, I am also really proud of Mark Ingram for winning the HEISMAN!!!! I was praying the whole time that he would win, I really, REALLY did NOT want Gerhart to win! *shiver* He drives me CRAZY!! And seriously WHO is SUH!? I didn't want Tim Tebow to win *gasp* not that I have anything against him, but I just don't think he deserved it.;) Besides....I like Colt McCoy better than him anyway.=)

Okay, moving on! This week I am going to *try* to watch BBC's Sense and Sensibility(2008). Don't worry, I've been told to skip the beginning!;) *sigh* A S&s without Kate Winslet(love her!) is heartbreaking!! Buuut, I love BBC, so I am going to give it a chance!! I'll let you know my thoughts on it sooner or later!

Its one of those classic lines that hardly ever fails to make me, and my sister "swoon".;-)

-I must confess that I would vote for the new BBC Emma dance any day! I loved the music, and the part was just *sigh* so beautiful. The actors were just perfect.

- I added the scene from become Becoming Jane, because I know its very popular, and a lot of people love. Including myself of course.;) Not that I've seen the movie, well little bits & pieces, but I understand you might want to watch this movie with Clearplay.....:/ But the dance scene was very sweet.

- Another thing, I did NOT enjoy the BBC Pride and Prejudice. I think Colin Firth is *cough* disgusting.=) Forgive me!

- I'm trying to find the 2005 dance scene, but its really hard to find.:/

In order to receive this award I must post the poem;

Before Lizzy could get away,

I would have answered in the comment section but some things are much too important for that.;)

I was asked by two people if I liked/watched the Twilight series. Read the post title to find out my answer.;) I was asked in an email about my OPINION on Twilight, and at the moment I had no time to write about it, so I just gave them a link!=) I am as anti-Twilight as I am anti-Harry Potter! Well, maybe not AS much, but I am very much anti-Twilight!! So please don't think for a minute that I like, have liked, or am GOING to like the series. I ABHOR Twilight, and everything about it.;) Sorry if I've offended anyone by saying so!=)

Lucie- Yea!! I haven't seen an entire episode either, but I am a huge fan of Richard Armitage, because he is one of the best actors ever, and has the voice that you could listen to all day.:)

Eldarwen- Please, please, PLEASE tell me! I HAVE to know! I probably already know already, but the suspense is KILLING ME!!=) PulEEZE tell me!:) And as you can see from above, I hate the Twilight series.:)

....and only the Robin Hood fans would understand why that quote sets me bawling.;) Though you can't count me as a true Robin Hood fan, because I've never seen an entire episode in my LIFE! But I do enjoy learning new things, and quotes about it. And I have seen my share of clips. But I am still not a true Robin Hood fan, cause I prefer Sir Guy over Robin ANY day!=) Couldn't help but post this pic....one of my best friends is OBSESSED with this show. She can't stop talking about it, poor girl.;)

-I got my mom to watch the new BBC Emma! She loves it! Jonny Lee Miller is her new favorite Mr. Knightley!=) (big step she made there....;)

Emma in every true sense of the word

"I cannot make speeches. If I loved you less I might be able to talk about it more."

The thought of watching Sense and Sensibility without Kate Winlset as Marianne, or watching Pride and Prejudice without Matthew Macfadyen as Mr. Darcy kinda crushes me. Why? Because to me Kate Winslet IS Marianne. And Matthew Macfadyen IS Mr. Darcy(begging my pardon to all Colin Firth worshippers;). They have grown on me so much! Okay, so getting to the point: I have never seen an Emma yet that has suceeded to make me like & love the characters. The 1996 version with Kate Beckinsale just wasn't justice, the characters didn't seem to have enough emotion. And sometimes it was just downright boring! Now, on to the Gwyneth Paltrow version. Okay, so I DON'T feel worthy of reviewing this one. Its been YEARS since I've seen it! My mom however loves it. But the Mr. Knightley in that version just wasn't....well....Mr. Knightley!!

Jonny Lee Miller, however, IS.

It starts out with Emma when she was a child, which I thought was very interesting. I also thought it was very creative how the brought it to the current day(its kinda hard to explain, you'd have to watch it).

Before I say anything else, I would like to say that Romola is absolutely adorable in every way! She is one of my favorite actresses, and just the way she acts throughout the whole thing, she's just SO cute!=) And I couldn't help but laugh whenever she exclaimed "how stupid she was!". And some of the best parts were when her & Mr. Knightley are arguing. I loved the part after they'd been arguing where Mr. Knightley comes marching back, and she thinks he's coming back to apologize, and makes herself look like an idiot saying something along the lines,"Oh, I'm so sorry we argued! I hope we can always be friends!".

The girl who played Harriet was good. Its so funny when she doesn't know what to do with her napkin...., and the look on Mr. Knightley's face when she tries to copy him!=) *laughs*

I personally think Mr. Elton is HILARIOUS! Even though he's such a sorry excuse for a man, I sorta felt sorry for him when Emma turned down his proposal.=)

Mr. Knightley was PERFECT!! He really & truly is!;) He's the only one who has the nerve to *correct* Emma, and she really does need it.;) And me & Mary both agreed that one of the BEST parts is where he dances with Harriet, he's such a sweetheart. Oh, did`I mention he loves children?! He also has a great relationship with Mr. Woodhouse.=) I'm diving into deep waters here, but he would make a PERFECT role-model for a husband. And yes, he puts Mr. Darcy to shame!=)

Another one of my favorite parts is at the end, where she realizes that she is in love with Mr. Knightley. Its SO beautiful! And....well I don't want to spoil it for you! I give it 9 out of 10 stars.(S&S, and N&S have recieved that rating;)

Just curious: Have any of you seen the new BBC'S Emma? I know Lothiriel has since that's all she talks about anymore.;) I was going to wait until it came out on DVD, but my sister-in-law keeps telling me NOT to wait because its so good. So I will probably be watching some of the episodes today/tonight(curse mini-series! I hate them!).

Not only are we going to watch Emma, but we are going to have a Jane Austen Marathon!! *leaps for joy* I haven't watched Pride and Prejudice in forever!(it seems like it!) Or Sense and Sensibility(which is way better than Pride and Prejudice). And not just Jane Austen, but also any movie that isn't modern or fantasy. Which is something that upsets us since we were counting on watching The Lord of the Rings.;)

We will be watching Anne of Green Gables(LOVE these movies! especially the last one!), Love Comes Softly( I adore these movies too. I know there are a lot of people who think they changed the movies too much, but I despised the books so its easy for me to love the movies. Except for the fact that they killed Willie;), and Little Women("respect the classics, man";).

I was hoping to watch Enchanted(we bought it at Target! Yea!) but it was modern so it was out-of-the-question.;) I also wanted to watch Prince Caspian since we've only seen it like one or twice! Oh! Does anybody know where we can buy North and South? The BBC version? I'm hoping to get it for my birthday! Its AWESOME! Me & Mary watched it over at our aunt's where we were both sick with colds. It was like 1:00 in the morning and neither of us could sleep, so we turned on the TV to look for something good. We were browsing through the channels and I saw Return of the King. I said "Turn it to that! Turn to that!!" So she turned it to RotK, and there was like 5 minutes left. We were SO mad she almost turned off the TV but I told to keep it on and see what came on next. She reluctantly agreed. And that's when it came on. I think I still like Sense and Sensibility better, but this is her 2nd favorite movie ever. It was amazing, and has a beautiful soundtrack.

And thing is, it made us cry. Here's a list of movies that have made us cry.

And unless I'm mistaken, that's all. Though granted, we Brooklyns are very emotional when we are sick, this movie made us cry what seemed like constantly. And at one part; BAWL. Which made us wake up our aunt.;-)

Well, needless to say(for those of you who watched the game) McElroy has his worst performance this year. Let us pray that it does not continue to get worse! This was a very disappointing game for Bama fans, but the important thing is: We won.

I hate being sick. I felt even more sick by watching this game. Whoever was calling the plays had no idea what they were doing. We had a perfect chance to score a touchdown, but we settled for a field goal. What disgrace! There was about two minutes left and UT has the ball. I thought we could keep them from scoring. We didn't. So after Tennessee scored they kicked an onside kick. I thought we could keep them from getting the ball. We couldn't. They only needed a field goal to win. I thought we would prevent them from getting into field goal range. We didn't.

At this point in the game I turned off the TV, I was positive that we couldn't block the field goal.

We did.

The next thing I knew Matt was calling my cell phone and screaming things that were impossible for a human being to understand

Me: WHAT are you talking about???"

Matt:*confused* Didn't you see it?

At this point I turned the TV on(thank God for instant replays) and to my shock our Cody BLOCKED the field goal!!! The second time today!!!! It was a miracle!!!

.....IF you are a football fan! And you probably won't like this post if you are a Tennessee fan! Yes, I'm sure you can guess who I will be cheering for!;) I usually get to go down to Tuscaloosa to see the game, but I am currently sick with the flu, so I'll have to stay home and watch it! My whole family cheers for Alabama unless we are talking about my dad who is a true Gator fan. Alabama is currently 7-0, and I hope and pray that we will go 8-0!

(can you believe that Tennessee gave up Fulmer for Lane Kiffin???)

I have come to the conclusion that Nick Saban is currently the coolest Football coach EVER!! I fact, I think he's the only coach I even like....at ALL. I used to like Urban Meyer(Florida coach) but now I can hardly stand him. But Lane Kiffin is just a joke, and has made a complete idiot out of himself.

I like Greg Mcelroy, and I like Mark Ingram because they are both so awesome!!

My dear friend Lothiriel, and I have been debating whether Haldir or Legolas is better. I specifically told her that no matter what she said, I would ALWAYS prefer Haldir. However, she told me that if I watched the trilogy once more with an open mind, that I would find that Legolas had more qualities then Haldir. Of course me being SO stubborn I told her once again that not matter WHAT happened, I would "ALWAYS prefer Haldir!!" She begged and begged, and I finally agreed to watch the trilogy with an 'open mind'.;) Before I go on, I MUST tell you what my list of top LotR male characters USED to be: ;)

1. Haldir

2. Faramir(kinda weird that these two characters are right beside each other, huh?;)

3. Eomer

4. Elrond

5. Aragorn

6. Legolas(FINALLY!!)

Well, with that in mind, I watched FotR. And like Matthew Simery always says, "You find new things in it every single time you watch it." And I found out, HOW MUCH I LOVE LEGOLAS!!! I think what REALLY made me kind of 'blah' about him was because of the HUGE amount of fangirls he had(who really didn't care about his character).

We(me and my sister, Melissa) were watching the part where Legolas jumps over the gap in the bridge and exclaims "Gandalf!", and I REALLY did say out loud 'I LOVE this guy!'. Meanwhile Melissa(who is a DIE-hard-Legolas-fan), just looks at me with this big grin on her face and says 'Love him more then Haldir now?' And I, without thinking said, 'Yes of course!' I then quickly covered my mouth, and said 'I did NOT just say that'!

I was in a bad mood for which seemed like the LONGEST time, because I was beginning the accept the fact that I now liked Legolas better than Haldir. THEN "it" happened!

HALDIR CAME ON THE SCREEN!!!!!

I am currently in the BEST MOOD EVER because Haldir remains my favorite character!;)

*sigh* I could go on & on about how tired I am currently feeling right now, but since I hate complaining, I won't.;) I was planning on just going to bed, but my plans have been canceled because a dear friend has recently reminded me that tomorrow is HOBBIT DAY!!!!!!!:) *does a leap for joy* Well, needless to say, I'm very excited! Prince Caspian, tags, and...other things

After I first watched Prince Caspian I thought it was AWESOME! Okay, that's sorta a lie, because the first time I watched it, I hated the changes. But then later on, I became to appreciate them, and then I absolutely LOVED the movie! In fact, I loved it better then the book.

Even though I didn't like the movie at first, never for moment did I have anything against the movie if it hadn't first been a book. I realize that some people hate Caspian, because he was a "wimp" and a "sissy". Really, I NEVER saw ANY of this! I really enjoyed HIS character!(unlike Peter. not meaning to hurt anyone, but I didn't care for him at all). So after reading countless complaints about him on the blogging world & forums, I thought THERE MUST BE SOMETHING I MISSED!!

But *sigh* I watched again last night, and I failed to see anything that was worthy of being called a "sissy". But then again, there a LOT of people in this world who look at people I see as HERO'S, and think that they're just wimps.

I guess I just like 'unsung hero's'.=) Any thoughts?

Female? I believe my vote would have to go to Arwen.
Horse? Ah, my favorite Horse would have to be Shadowfax. Very much a horse that we would imagine Jesus riding.
Location? Gondor.
Hobbit? Well, I could say Frodo, because he is a very unsung hero. But I believe I shall go with Pippin.

Elf? Well! I am just simply appalled that you would ask such a question. The obvious for anyone would be Haldir.

Human? Eomer
Dress/Gown? Anything worn by Lady Galadriel.
Battle? The Last one.

Quote? It would be almost impossible for me to choose just one, but I suppose everyone loves "All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us".

Scene? Well, obviously anything with Haldir. Ms. Tyler did all her scenes just beautifully. But one of very favorites is when Pippin tells Gandalf that he 'didn't think it would end this way'. The music, the setting.....everything was just perfect.
Piece of Jewelry? I don't believe I'll answer this one.

Aragorn VS Legolas? As much as I would like to say Aragorn, I will go with Legolas. Everyone in the entire world was just hated Aragorn when he gave Arwen back her jewel. Aragorn also was very full of himself(unlike Haldir), and for the most part, there was nothing to be proud of.

Frodo VS Sam? Frodo. He is very much, an 'unsung hero'. A lot of people just hate him, and you know, call him a "wimp", but I don't think that's the case.

Merry VS Pippin? Pippin has my vote. Though I am a bit prejudice, because I did not like Dom. Pippin was much stronger than Merry though, so I am very positive.

Legolas VS Gimli? I will not answer this question.

Arwen VS Galadriel? Oh, I do believe I'm going with Arwen. I mean, not to put Galadriel down, but I feel much more for Arwen.
Arwen VS Eowyn? Please give me a break! I absolutely hate the 'Arwen VS Eowyn' debate. But you know what? I hate Eowyn even more. I find that her qualities are very few, and her attitude toward her uncle is far from respect.
Eowyn VS Eomer? Eomer. I do not like Eowyn.

Eomer VS Theoden? Eomer. Though Theoden is also a man of glory. He was altogether a father, a leader, and a king. Very strong man, he was. But my vote would still have to go with Eomer. Let's face how strong this man is, he had to deal with Eowyn.

Arwen VS Aragorn? Arwen. For the most part, I do not like Aragorn

Arwen VS Legolas? Arwen again.
Legolas VS Haldir? Well, Haldir of course. I am ashamed of these so-called-"ringers" when they prefer Legolas over Haldir. I think they have missed the whole entire point of the whole trilogy.
Boromir VS Faramir? Oh, I see. I believe I will go with Boromir. For....different reasons,

Smeagol VS Gollum? Oh, Smeagol is just a sweetheart. You have to love him. Frodo & Sam would have never made it without him.

It was a rather exciting night:) But right now I am REALLY tired, and I'm not sure if it was worth it! JK! It WAS worth it! We watched movies until the sun came up(yeah, that late:( ) and then we STILL stayed up(we had not yet finished all our movies:) I was the first one to arrive at her house, in fact Hilary took so long that we wondered if she would show up! Finally her & Adam(her brother) arrived(like an hour late), and he told us this long story how Ringwraiths were chasing them, and if it were not for him, Hilary would have never survived(I have NEVER heard this guy say anything serious in my life!:) He stayed for a long time talking to my mom & Belle's mom. Everyone makes fun of him, because he would rather talk to his friend's moms rather than his FRIENDS!:) Yeah, they call him a wimp.:( But we don't think so, he's really awesome! Well, after he left we decided to watch a movie. The question? What movie!!?? We couldn't decide! I wanted to watch Little Women, & Hilary wanted to watch Pride & Prejudice. So, we flipped a coin, and I won. But somehow we ended up watching Fellowship of the Ring first(?????) We watched that until Gandalf died, and then we decided we didn't want to finish it, so we put in Return of the King(yeah, we were in a very strange mood that night) But anyway, we had a fun time, and watched movies all night!:)

Lothiriel: My personal favorite 'Jane Austen movies' are Pride & Prejudice, and Sense & Sensibility. I like Pride & Prejudice basically because its so lighthearted in a way. One of the reasons I like Sense & Sensibility because its one of the very few movies that makes me cry. And in my very humble opinion, I like it better than P&P. Though I know many would simply beg to disagree with me. :)
P.S. Mr. Darcy was AWESOME! But just think, if they had got a handsome Col. Brandon, which would we prefer????!!!

Sorry it took so long to get back to you! Mr. Darcy is a character from the book/movie Pride & Prejudice. I loved the movie, but its NOT a guy's movie. So it would not intrest you.....at all.:) Also, women's costumes have very low necklines, which is another reason why you(or any man for that matter!) should not watch it.

First of all, I don't think there is any need for a lady to be 'feminine' as you say. It the own woman's choice to do whatever she pleases to do in her life. Just because you have such 'convictions' in your life, does NOT mean you have to shove it down people's throats just for the sake of making them feel guilty. Now, I am NOT saying that is wrong to be a 'keeper at home', I'm just saying that is also NOT wrong for a woman to pursue a career. Look at Sarah Palin, when I see her as a very, godly woman! And look at Deborah what did! And she was from the Bible! I have no intention of 'staying at home', and that is my own personal choice! Does that make me feel anymore less godly? NO! So if you will excuse me, I will continue living my own life."

I was searching the web today, and I saw this poster(what my brother calls "The Ultimate LotR poster"). It says "Best Acting by Ensemble" and in truth LotR has some of the best acting I have ever seen(though I have not seen many movies, so I'm not one to judge best acting:) , you would think that most of them would have a really successful acting career. But....not really. Though some do...like.. Cate Blanchett, or Sean Bean, and maybe even Orlando Bloom. But these actors I have really gotten attached to, and when I watch another movie I'm like "They should have let Liv Tyler play her" or "Elijah Wood so fits the character better than him". I know I'm probably the only one who is like this, but I can't help being this way. *sigh* And I can't hardley see a movie that they played in because they don't play in anything decent anymore. Its real sad. Well, in my eyes it is.

Probably the oddest award I will ever receive, The Anti-Eowyn award! Though I must admit I do deserve it LOL! I have hated Eowyn ever since I watched The Two Towers, and have never stopped hating her. No, I am an Arwen fan. I always have been, always will be. Though my mom at first was a big fan of Eowyn, she later changed her mine, and is now an Arwen fan like the rest of us. Even my little brother liked her at first, but then changed his mind once we told him how she was indeed not a Godly woman. So yeah....this award belongs to all of my family...

Hey EchoOfMercy posted some of her drawings so I thought I'd show you some of mine. Though I don't have a trained teacher or anything so I know they are not perfect.

This one is of Frodo and Gandalf, I drew this for my Uncle(he's a big fan of Lord of the Rings).

Nothing much to say about this one...just Sam. I drew this on a rainy day when I was bored to tears.

This is my most recent one of Arwen. This is where the fellowship is leaving Rivendell. She looks so beautiful, and somewhat hurt.

Arwen's Vision

I have been thinking a lot about the scene Arwen's Vision lately. This is a scene that NEVER fails to make me cry. Arwen is somebody I would really love to be just like, the fact that she was willing to sacrifice all that she had for the one she loved is amazing.

A lot of people don't know the real picture of Arwen's Vision, because it was really supposed to be a silent message to the LotR cast. I'm going to start out by telling you guys the whole story....

Craig Parker(Haldir) was a very devoted Christian, and after finishing Lord of the Rings, he was planning to get married to his girlfriend(Andrea) , and have lots of children. But it did not exactly turn out that way. As it turns out Andrea came to the set one day, and was very much pregnant(NOTE: THE BABY WAS NOT HIS!). Craig was both upset, angry, and hurt at the time, and was even more upset when he found out that she wanted an abortion(because in his eyes abortion is murder, which is true). He insisted that he would have no part in the abortion, and that he was not going to give her one cent. But she was not about to give birth to the baby, so she sweet talked David Wenham(Faramir) into giving her the money. Which he did(jerk), and that caused so much anger throughout the whole cast. It was so bad that Peter Jackson had to let Craig Parker go, which is why they had to kill Haldir. Its a very long, and confusing story, so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Now, back to Arwen's Vision. It is a picture of a pregnant woman making a choice whether to have an abortion or not(NOTE: ARWEN WAS NOT PREGNANT). Because even though she wasn't pregnant, she still had the decision whether she would choose her life or the child's.

I always cry when I see her son's look that he gives her, it always causes me to think that a real baby can tell when it is not wanted(while still in the womb). And this look that he gives her is just like he is saying that he knows he's not wanted.

I know that its kinda of....well....far from the truth I guess you can say, but this scene was dedicated to Craig Parker, though it is not really a Christian picture, it was amazing that Peter Jackson would allow such a Pro-life message into the film.

Okay, now you have learned a new lesson about Lord of the Rings! Unless you already knew it LOL!

7 things I would like to do before I die:

1. Get married.

2. Have as many children as possible.

3. Have all my children be led to the Lord.

4. Create a famous saying that everyone will use.

5. Lead at least one of the LotR cast actor/actress to the Lord.

6. Memorize the entire Bible.

7. Be able to say that I have fought the good fight, and truly mean it.

1. Keep my mouth shut.

2. Have pity on Eowyn.

3. Math.

4. Be nice to sinners.

5. Lie.

6. Buy a present that someone likes.

7. Accept the fact that I'm always going to look like Miley Cyrus.

Feeling Feminine

Though women of today have better things to do then stay at home(so I've been told), I believe that a lady's place is to be a keeper at home, and be glad in that. So many things have changed on this once good earth. And things are changing for the worst. No longer are females happy with wearing a dress/skirt to church. No, they can wear anything a man wears now. Well, they can keep what they have, because I have a greater joy than all of them. I have the privilege of being a lady after God's own heart. I can wear a dress, and be content, and happy with it. I can be modest, and still feel pretty. I can look at courtship, and can see it as romantic, and glorifying God at the same time. People who don't realize the beauty of femininity, its their loss.
